Region

diverse Provenienzen Spanien

With more than 1.2 million hectares, Spain boasts the world’s largest vine cultivation area. Accordingly, the significance of viticulture in Spain cannot be overstated. Three climatic zones (the green and cool North; the central plateau in the outlying areas as well as the southern, warm coastal areas) give rise to 600 grape vine varieties, many of them indigenous and used only locally, making Spain a highly diverse winegrowing region. Large branches of rivers – Ebro and Duero in the North, Tajo in the West, Guadiana in the South and Júcar und Turia in the East – pervade the land and deliver abundant water to the vineyards.

Producer/Brand

Lazarra

In terms of emotion, temperament and taste, Spanish wines are virtually unbeatable. Our Lazarra range reflects this with a white wine made from the fresh Sauvignon Blanc grape, as well as a rosé and a red wine made from the high-quality Monastrell grape. Not only do these fruits enjoy a perfect climate with a limited amount of water and lots of sunshine, they also benefit from the country’s longstanding wine-growing tradition.
