Character

This brick-red blend has an enchantingly subtle aroma of cherry, sour cherry and fig, alongside fine notes of cocoa and chocolate, berries and just a touch of pepper. On the palate it is intensely fruity, beautifully fresh, harmonious and soft, rounded off with a sustained finish.

Region

Waadt

For more than 1000 years, wine has ranked among the most important cultural goods in the canton of Waadt. Home to the Chasselas grape, the region produces twice as much white wine as red wine. The winegrowing area on the northern shores of Lake Geneva is made up of three regions: In Chablais the rocky soils yield aromatic, tangy and powerful wines. The warm region of Lavaux produces floral, fruity and dense wines with a creamy texture. Interposed between these two regions is the La Côte, which benefits from the protection of the Jura mountain range and the balancing influence of the lake. On the gravelly soils in the proximity of the lake, these conditions give rise to wines of utmost sophistication.

Producer/Brand
