Character

This deep-coloured, long-lasting wine has an intense bouquet of sour cherry, dried fruit and roasted notes to enchant the nose. On the palate are deliciously juicy tannins, a wonderful freshness and the powerful fruit aromas, accompanied by smoky and spicy (pepper and cinnamon) dimensions. With its soft, mellow and harmonious body, this is a wine that is not quickly forgotten.

Aragonien

Die nordostspanische Region Aragón umfasst das breite Ebro-Tal und ist im Norden von den Pyrenäen dominiert, die das trockene Tal mit Wasser versorgen. Aufgrund dieser Lage weisen die Weine hier ein grosses Potenzial auf. Kleine, ausgezeichnete Weingüter mit ausgeprägtem Qualitätsdenken machen Aragón mit seinen vier DO-Zonen Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja und Somontano für Weinliebhaber immer interessanter. Hauptsächlich werden hier die rote Garnacha und Tempranillo angebaut.
